Topographical Shifts is a non-profit organization that provides research and design services for resilient and adaptable urban environments. Specializing in urban design and landscape architecture for the public, we work collaboratively with local communities to inform site specific strategies. We specialize in design of public space, cultural and ecological habitats, water management, infrastructure systems and sustainable regional systems.

As global issues are constantly in flux and appear at times insurmountable, adaptable urban systems are crucial. Our design projects are collaborative and research based, utilizing the knowledge of the local community and the physical structure of the existing context. Throughout the R & D process, emphasis is placed on sustainable interventions that balance the needs of local culture, environmental habitat and economic infrastructure.
